Art on a Postcard International Women's Day Auction 2025

Art on a Postcard is hosting its sixth annual International Women's Day Auction

Featuring postcard-sized artworks by female-identifying artists. Proceeds will support The Hepatitis C Trust's initiatives, particularly their work in women's prisons, addressing the high prevalence of hepatitis C among incarcerated women.

Auction Details:

• Dates: February 27 – March 13, 2025

• Bidding: Online, with starting bids at £50 and no buyer's premium

Private View Event:

• Date & Time: March 4, 2025, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Location: The Bomb Factory Marylebone, 206 Marylebone Rd, London, NW1 6JQ

• Admission: Free, but RSVP is required

Participating Artists:

• Caroline Coon: Contributing works from her 'Skinscape' series, inspired by the symptoms of hepatitis C.

• Mercedes Lucy: Presenting ceramic tile paintings, including ethereal blue depictions of eagles.

• Julie Caves: Showcasing explorations of light and color.

• Juno Calypso: Featuring a bubblegum-pink bathroom self-portrait.

Cause: Funds raised will support The Hepatitis C Trust's work in women's prisons, where a significant portion of the population tests positive for hepatitis C. The Trust aims to address the needs of marginalized women facing gender inequalities and complex challenges.
