Mixed Media Artist contributes to Art on A Postcard

Maureen Grayson, one of the notable winners of the Women in Art Prize 2024, brings her distinctive vision to Art on a Postcard’s International Women’s Day initiative. Selected through her Women in Art Prize recognition, Grayson is contributing original postcard artworks to this charitable collaboration, which raises vital funds for the Hepatitis C Trust.

In a recent interview with @artvoxldn, Grayson discussed her compelling mixed media practice and her postcard submissions. Working from her London studio, she creates powerful abstractions that translate environmental phenomena into visual experiences. Her distinctive technique involves layering custom-crafted collage papers across wood panels, canvas, and paper, creating complex dialogues between texture, bold tones, and expressive marks.
